Samsung is working on a project t get rid of Android Mobile Operating System, Samsung based Tizen Operating System is not designed only for Mobile Devices, it also covers smart Televisions, PCs, Smart Cameras, Printers, and Smart Home appliances. Previously Samsung was working on Bada Project and now combined the Bada with Tizen and Samsung is hoping to replace Android OS with its own OS. Now Samsung is ready to launch its next Smartphone that runs on Tizen OS, but instead of high end features, the Phone focuses emerging Indian market with low specs, so Indian People are expecting an Entry Level Tizen based Smartphone in the mid of January 2015.
Samsung launched its first Tizen based Smartphone named Samsung Z that features 4.8 inches Super AMOLED Screen along with a Dual Core Processor and run on Tizen v2.2.1 Operating System. Samsung equipped Samsung Z with 16 GB internal storage and 2 GB of RAM, 8 Mega Pixel Primary Camera and a 2.1 Mega Pixel front Cam. The project was cancelled after all Tizen partners show lack of interest, however Korean based Company decided to continue development of Tizen OS.
Now Samsung is ready to launch its next Smartphone that runs on Tizen OS, but the Phone focuses emerging Indian market with low specs, so Indian People are expecting an Entry Level Tizen based Smartphone in the mid of January 2015.
To avoid any further failure, Samsung Z1 is supposed to come with a price tag under $90 and will features a 4 inch WVGA display, a Dual Core Processor, 512 MB of RAM and a 3 Mega Pixel Camera along with modern connectivity, i.e. 3G and Wi-Fi support.

Tizen based Samsung Z1 Smartphone is expected to release on 18th January 2015, and is expected to be available from February 2015 over China followed by South Korea (Homeland).
According to The Korean Economic Daily, Samsung is planning to release an ultra low price Smartphone which will make grounds under 100000 WON (Korean Currency), while China based Xiaomi is dominating this project.
According to an Official of at Samsung:“We decided to release the Tizen phone in India on January 18, 2015. The priceof the phone is set at less than 100,000 won.”
Samsung is also planning to sale Samsung Z1 via online Shopping carts to catch more audience.
