Backup Data

  • You are advised to take a backup of all your data to access it again in case of any mishap.
  • Make it possible that your device is charged up to 70-80 percent, if charging is below this level you may be caught by a great trouble.

  • USB debugging mode should be enable.

Android Jelly Bean

  • Connect Your Galaxy Note II N7100 to PC via USB Cable
  • After successful connecting your Device with PC, you need to copy CM10.2 ROM along with Google Apps Package followed by pasting the same to SD Card of Galaxy Note II
  • Disconnect the device from PC and powered it off
  • Reboot it to Recovery mode and create a Nandroid backup of your current ROM by selecting “backup and restore > backup.” You can restore the saved ROM anytime by choosing “restore” in the recovery mode.
  • Wipe of all data on your device by going through Wipe data/factory reset followed by wipe cache partition
  • Now go back to the main menu then select “advance > wipe Dalvik cache.”
  • After the full wipe, select “install zip from SD card > choose zip from SD card.” Choose the CM10.2 firmware you have copied earlier then confirm its installation. Do the same with the Google Apps package.
  • 9. Once installation is complete, go back to the main menu then select “reboot system now.”
  • 10. Your Galaxy Note 2 will reboot and it may take at least 5 minutes before reaching the home screen due to the “first time” running the ROM.
  • Congratulations! Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with CM10.2 is running your Galaxy Note 2 N7100. Enjoy all the brand new features and customisation offered by the unofficial custom ROM.
