Update HTC Wildfire S to Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2

Indeed the low cost and budgeted Smartphone is need of most of the people with low income level. Hence HTC decided to launch the HTC Wildfire that is cheap but with handy combination so that people from emerging areas tend to adopt that Smartphone instead of normal featured Phone. Later HTC launched its upgraded version named as HTC Wildfire S in 2011. Now in 2013, Google has launched the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and before this version the Google launched the Android 4.1 Jelly bean and Android 4.1.2 and other versions

This HTC Wildfire S has a low amount of Processing capacity of 600 MHz only and hence I am advising you to update your handset to Android 4.1.2 to get benefit from the Rooting your device to make it more faster and handy. So to do that you have to update your Handset to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean though Google has also launched the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean but the OS that suits to your HTC Wildfire S is the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

HTC Wildfire S will be flashed with a custom ROM named AOKP. This HTC Wildfire has no official Jelly Bean as Google never want for installing its latest brand of Android on a device with such low fire power. Procedure of Updating:

1: Start your PC or Notebook Computer and connect it to Internet

2: You need to have the firmware for Your HTC Wildfire S. download it if you haven’t already it form here

3: Transfer the files from PC to handset in SD card of Phone via Bluetooth or via USB cable.

4: Disconnect it form PC

5: Now you have to reboot your Phone to recovery mode

6: after rebooting, you have to delete all the system data which is present in the internal memory of your Phone. So select ‘Wipe cache partition’ and ‘Wipe data factory reset’. This will wipe off all the system data from phone.

7: Go for ‘install zip from sd card’

8: Select it to begin the update

9: Wait for time till updating will be complete. Be patient it will take some time to complete.

10: After completion of update, select go back and then select ‘reboot now’

11: After restart, your HTC Wildfire S has updated to Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and you can see the slick Jelly Bean screen on your device.

Enjoy the new stuff. But be informed that this whole process is only for HTC Wildfire S not for any else device. You are responsible for using this method on any other device other than HTC Wildfire S.
